David Hamburger Sample Lesson

Very nice sample lesson from David Hamburger on acousticguitareworkshop.com, using Freddie Green chord voicings on slow E chord progression.

Saw Hamburger at guitar show in Boston couple of years ago, and he left a lasting impression. His "New School" finger style blues is sort of a jazzed blues style, from what I have seen. Regardless of what you call it, very nice stuff, and he has a pleasant, clear teaching style that is well produced.

Click on the "New School" tab at bottom of the video screen.

Maybeck

Seven years (''89 - '95), 42 solo jazz piano recitals recorded and publshed by Concord Records.

These recordings are among the very finest jazz piano recordings

I stumbed on this site, which lists the artists, has many photos, and has interviews with many of the performers.
